about

I've always wanted to do an acoustic album. I love the warmth and honesty of a simple acoustic song. I'm a huge fan of Bob Dylan and Neil Young. I also love Jimmy Page's instrumentals. Early in my songwriting I wrote a lot of instrumentals. Many came about by just teaching myself how to play guitar. The last song, "You Were There" is not acoustic, but I wrote it during this time with my good friend, Dave Smothers, and it gives the album a little kick. As for the cover, I feel like a piece of broken pottery right now, so I hope you'll take me "just as I am".
